Okay if you haven't seen this show yet, you really should! Dan and I just finished season one on DVD and are now on season two. We are so addicted it really is all we watch. I watched it for 6 hours yesterday!! It's so intense, we even got Chris to watch it so he comes over and we have a little prison break party!

Well as you all know I went to Colorado last week to visit Leigh and the boys for the 4th and it was so much fun! I'm sure if you have read Leigh or Katies you already know but we had the best surprise waiting for us when we got there. We were all downstairs saying our hellos to Leigh and the boys when all of the sudden I hear someone say "did you guys make it okay" I turned around and it was Katie and Boston!! I don't think anyone will understand how much I have missed them and was so excited to see them!! I started to cry like a baby and ran to the stairs and hugged them and stole Boston from Katie. I was used to seeing him about 3 or 4 times a week and when they moved that was so hard to not see him. Tim decided for Katie's birthday to fly her to Leigh's and surpirse us all and it sure did surprise me! It had made sense why Tim kept texting me the whole morning asking where we were, he was so excited knowing Katie was there to surprise us. I think that was so sweet of him to let her come. So I had such a fun weekend with my sisters!! I wish they lived closer but you do what you have to do. I miss how funny Leigh is and what a fun mom she is! We just shopped and ate and hung out and it was such a relaxing weekend. Thank you so much Leigh for letting us come play with you!! Oh and I finally got to see Boston walk!! He is so cute! Well Leigh is working on sending me pictures from the trip since I forgot my camera so these are some pictures I took with my phone.

I am so excited because tomorrow morning at 5 AM my parents and I are headed to Peyton, Colorado to see my big sister Leigh!! I am so excited to see her it's been way too long!!I get to finally see where she lives and see how big my cute nephews have gotten. It will be a fun 4th of July, I'm just sad my love won't be with me, he wanted to stay home. Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

New car and a new place to live.

Well these last couple of weeks have been busy!! We moved last Saturday to Layton and we both love it! A big thank you to Amy, Phil and Chris for helping with the move. It was an all day process so thank you so much! We also sold Dan's car a couple weeks ago and he got a bicycle for his new transportation. We now live only 6 miles from his work so he said he would sacrafice having a car of his own for a bike. I have the best husband, he is willing to do whatever to save money for us. We were just planning on selling my car and I would get his but someone wanted it and we said why not! We decided to get me a car I really wanted! So we decided to search for a white Honda Accord. We put my car up on KSL Monday afternoon and had 3 people called that afternoon to look at it and by Tuesday night someone wanted to buy it on wednesday! So we met them on Wednesday and gave them the car. We had no car and luckily chris let us use his. Long story short we found a 05 honda accord and Dan was able to get the guy to sell it for 17500!! He was trying to sell it for 19. It is so beautiful! It is leather seats, sun roof, spoiler, V-6 engine and so many other fun features. We feel so lucky to be able to have such a wonderful new car!! Dan put his pretty rims on it and now it is totally pimped out! I'll post more pics of the car and apartment when our computer is set back up.

So it's summer time and I thought it was time to cut the hair short for the hot weather! So I took in a picture to school last night and asked my cute instructor Krista to cut it and this is the end result! I love it so much! We are going to color it on monday and put some blonde back in it. So I'll post a picture next week of the final look.

Little update

Well in my last post I mentioned we had to get rid of our little kitty. And about and hour ago Daniel took her to an animal shelter in SLC. It was one of the hardest decisions we have had to make. We love her so much but we just couldn't have her anymore. She was being really naughty and peeing everywhere. We went to the vet and he mentioned things we could do for her and we tried it and it did get better but we just didn't have the time to help her. We are moving in two weeks and didn't want her peeing in the new apartment. The thing that really pushed this was on Sunday morning I discovered she had peed 3 times during the night on my quilt I was sleeping with and it was on the couch!! I really hope someone loving and patient will adopt her. She really is a good kitty and we will miss her so much! Don't think we are mean!! I feel horrible for doing that to her.

I am going to miss her so much!!!

On other news, we bought new couches, well I should say had to since kitty peed on ours and cat pee does not come out!! We get to pick them up the day we move (the 21st). We are really excited for them.

This is also my last week before I go on the the floor at school and I will be on my own!! I am so nervous! I just hope I do well and remember everything I have been taught!!

We need to find our kitty a good home before we move, the apartments we are moving to are going to make us pay 300 deposit just for our kitty and 25 a month for her extra and we just are stressing over it. Plus we think she needs more room to play, our aprtment is really too small for a kitty. So if any of you know someone who would treat her like a princess like we have let us know. We really want her to be in a good home. It's killing us to do this but its what's best for our little kitty!

Well I had to say goodbye to Katie yesterday and it was horrible. I already miss them so much. I was a wreck all day knowing that sooner or later I had to do it. So on my dinner break at school I went over there. As soon as I saw the moving truck it became real that they were actually leaving. I think I had been in Denyal the whole month before. I started crying when I saw Boston and knew it would be the last time for a while. I only had a half hour there, so it finally came that I had to say goodbye. I guess I never realized how much I love my sister and how much I was going to miss her. It was really hard to say goodbye to Boston, I am going to miss out on so much of him growing up, even though I know I'll talk to kate all the time, it's just not the same. It's so hard to not have any of my sisters living in Utah anymore, but I know it's not a permanent thing, but it just sucks so bad! But I do have all of my sister in laws which I am grateful for! So good luck Kate and Tim I will miss you guys so much!! I love you!!

Dan and I will be moving to Layton June 21st! We are moving into the Hidden Cove Apartments just behind my school. We figured it would save so much on gas living in Layton. I don't feel like I talk about Daniel enough on here, so I thought I would just tell him how much I love him and love being married to him. He's the reason I am so happy to be alive! I love knowing he will be there when I get home from school and I love waking up in the middle of the night and seeing him sleeping there so cute!! I love the little things he does, like kisses before he leaves for work, the phone call at 4:15 when he is off work, the way he whines for me to come to bed to cuddle with him, there are so many things I love about him I could just go on and on. I'm very lucky I found him and he is mine for eternity!! I am very blessed to have him! I love you Daniel!

Today I got a call from my brother asking what I was doing, and of course I'm at work. He had to call because Jaxon kept asking what I was doing and wanted to see me. Isn't that so cute! I really adore that kid. Another cute thing he did was on Tuesday I went down to my mom's to hang out with her and the boys (Jaxon and Boston) and I wasn't even in the house and I could hear Jaxon yelling "aunt whitty's here, aunt whitty's here" It was so dang cute and I was greeted with a hug and a kiss. We had fun with each other and played with chalk outside and chased each other around. When it was time to go, he kept saying "I want to go with you aunt Whitty" Broke my little heart that I couldn't take him!! I love you Jax!!!

So I got the best phone call last night from my BFF Allison, she's engaged!!! I was so excited for her. His name is Nick Taylor and they are getting Married August 21st in the SLC Temple. I knew about the whole engagement because Nick and I were talking on the sly to figure everything out. But he couldn't hide it from allison anymore because he was so excited so she eventually found out about our little scam. haha I was a little shocked to get the call yesterday that he proposed because it wasn't supposed to be until the 25th of this month, but I guess he changed his mind!! She is so happy and I am excited for the both of them. I'll keep everyone updated on the wedding plans. Congrats Allison and Nick!!

On Tuesday and Thursday I had to have hair models at school and this is the finished look!! I was so excited to see that I could actually do hair and it looked pretty!! I now have 2 hair weaves under my belt. I just can't wait to do more. I love doing hair and I am so glad that I am in school. It's the best ever!! If you want your hair done let me know!! I go on my own June 15th!! I am learning so much and can't wait to see what else I can do!

Our regular thing is to meet at pace's at 11:30 at least once a week. I love spending time with her, she just cracks me up and I can tell her anything. I know I can go to her with any problem and she will help me to know what to do. She is probably the best Grandma to my nephews and one day mine. I finally was able to watch Kyree yesterday, I was supposed to start last week, but Ky had some doctor appointments so it just didn't work out so I started my first week babysitting yesterday. It's nice to be able to help Breanna out because I knew she really needed a babysitter and I was more than happy to volunteer. We started out with a rough morning because she was beyond tired since she didn't sleep the night before and had an upset belly. But after some medicine and finally falling asleep it was smooth the rest of the day. We went and saw her Mommy at work because Breanna missed her so much. Then we went to lunch with my mom, Katie and Boston. She slept the whole time and was still asleep when we got back to my apartment. I was really sad when her grandma called and said she was already here to come get her. I'm really glad I get to spend time with her and that she is so dang cute!

So I called Daniel yesterday from work and asked what he wanted to do that night, and he said I want to take you to dinner. I was excited we haven't done a real date night for a little while. So I called him and told him I was leaving work and wanted to go get some shampoo and conditioner and he kept saying no you need to hurry and get home to get ready. I was a little bummed but knew I didn't need it right away, so I got home and did my usual routine of saying hi to kitty and Dan was like hurry, get dressed. So I finally am ready and we are just barely on the road when I told him I wanted to call Amy and say hi. He was like no, (oh by the way he wouldn't tell me where we were going) well you can but she might tell you where we were going. I really thought we were going to Texas Roadhouse cause we both love it. But then he started for the freeway and I was like "oh freeway huh, must be somewhere good, is it Rodizzio Grill?" He was so shocked I had guessed it! He was like you talked to Amy didn't you! I promise I really didn't, he just always talks about how he wants to go there and I had never been. The reason I had to hurry and get dressed is because we had reservations at 6. I have the cutest husband, it was a fun date. Their food was so good, I'm not a big meat person but I had some really good stuff. I had a hard time with some of it because it's cooked over an open flame and some of it tasted like camp fire. I felt bad, but Dan knows I'm a picky eater! :) Dan was in heaven, it was so cute! I would definitely go back again, whether Dan thinks so or not. Thanks love for one of the best date nights ever! I have the sweetest husband ever!

So if any of you didn't know I started school on Tuesday. I absolutely love it. I am so glad I decided to do this for my career. It's really hard to not see Daniel as much though, I leave for school when he is driving home and I don't get home till 10. But it will be worth it. We got our kits on Wednesday and it was like Christmas opening everything up. We have only learned draping and shampooing this week and all the rules of the school, next week we are getting more into it. My instructor is only 2 years older so its fun to have someone so young to teach us. The school is just so fun and I can't wait to learn more and more!

My nephew Boston turned one on Friday! Holy cow I can't believe it! I still remember the day he was born, Katie let me be in the room with her when he was born and it was the neatest thing I've ever experienced. Thanks sister! Katie and Tim had a Pirate themed BBQ friday and it was so much fun. He got so many fun toys to play with. He was so cute with his cake, at first he would just pick off the sprinkles then he started to dig into it. You could tell he was done so I offered to go put him in the bath because Katie seemed busy with getting the cake to everyone, he really didn't want to get in the bath he was crying the whole time. But as soon as Mommy walked into the bathroom it was all better. He sure loves that mommy of his, it's so cute! Well that's about it about Boston's birthday party. Thanks Katie and Tim for the party it was sure fun.

Update on this past week.

This week was Dan's birthday and I got the day off. Since he was working I surprised him at work with balloons, candy and a drink. I told him the night before that I was going to come to his work and he didn't believe I would actually do it! I got the biggest balloons I could find at the store. I tried to leave them at his work so everyone could see them but he wouldn't let me. Silly hubby! Later that night we went to olive garden for his birthday dinner. It was a fun day! I love you Daniel!

Since Shelby and Ryan were moving to South Carolina they offered to sell us their bedroom set for a great deal that we couldn't pass up on. We also picked up the bedroom set on Dan's birthday. Now our room just feels complete! We love it, thanks Shelby and Ryan. We will miss you tons and can't wait for you guys to come back. We're going to miss Abby and Jaxyn so much too!

Since Leigh and the boys are in town, we had a sisters day out with their boys. We went to Javiers for lunch and then to the Treehouse Museum. It was a fun day and I think the boys would have stayed there all day if we let them!

Yesterday we went to dinner with Dan's family and my family! Two dinners!(We didn't eat at both places though) But it was fun to be with both sides. It looks like we also caught some kind of bug because most of us are sick with a nasty cough. It's not fun, I just hope Daniel doesn't get it! Also I am very excited because last night at dinner Leigh let us know that she and Austin are expecting baby #3! Let's just hope she pulls through with the first girl on my side!! Well I think that about sums up our week.

Happy Easter everyone!(yes I know it's a day late)We had a really fun weekend. On Saturday we went down to Steph's house and had the birthday/easter egg hunt dinner for the Smith side. We celebrated the triplets, mine and Jake's birthday for March. It was really fun. Thanks to everyone that got Dan and I birthday gifts!!

On Sunday we went to my parents house and had an Easter Egg hunt and dinner. It was awesome because Leigh and her family were able to come over from Colorado. I haven't seen her since last April. I was so excited to see her. Boy have Brendan and Logan gotten big! The kids had so many toys and candy to look for, we all thought they would be fast but no it took them so long that the parents ended up getting the rest of the toys themselves. They got distracted by the first few things they got! I love that all of my siblings were able to be there, I've missed that.

Yesterday I was able to babysit Boston. We had fun and he is such an easy baby to take care of. The picture with his bum in the air is from his nap that morning and that is exactly how he fell asleep and stayed that way for like and hour. It was so cute. We went to lunch with his Mommy and she loved it. We just played with his toys and even made a trip to Target. I love being able to spend time with him, so thanks Tim and Kate for letting me babysit!!

So Daniel and I came down last night to St. George for my birthday. Let me tell you that it is so fun down here,and that it is sunny and beautiful helps. I definitly do not miss the cold weather and the melting snow up in Ogden. We were able to finally meet Harley today and I'm in love with that child, she is so beatiful. Erin and Darren made one cute baby! We also went to the driving rage today with chris. It's so fun to come down here and be with Dan's family, I really love them. His grandma takes such good care of us when we come down. We've been playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band for the first time. It's been a blast down here and it's only been a day. Beauty School Dropout....

Well not dropout but I just had to if you have seen Grease. Anyway, if you guys didn't already know, I'm going to Cosmetology school!!! I start at Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair school in April. And this time I'm not changing my mind like I did with the whole nursing thing. I've never been so sure about what I've wanted to do for my career, so I feel really good about doing this. So if anyone wants me to do their hair when I start I would love it!!

Biggest Loser!

So I forgot to mention that we haven't really been that motivated on working out for the last 3 weeks. All of my family is still doing the Biggest Loser, but lately none of us have been motivated... oops! So on Sunday we all decided we need to get motivated again so we weighed in! We all have actually maintained our weights from a month ago but I was the most shocked that I had lost another 5 lbs!! It was awesome. I've only been eating healthly and not working out so now I'm mad at myself because I know I couldn't have lost more if I had worked out. Dan has lost a total of 15 pounds so he is in the lead. Hopefully weighing in is all we needed to get moving again!! Summer is just around the corner!!

I just love Sunday dinners! We take turns and go to my parents one week and the next week in my in laws. I love just hanging out with my family. It's probably my favorite thing to do. We just hang out and laugh. I love being able to see my cute nephews and just playing with them. I took some pictures from dinner yesterday at my mom's, so I thought I would share them. I love the picture of Jaxon and my Mom putting his puzzle together. Jaxon is my little baby and I just love him. He tells me he loves me and wants to come to my house to see kitty. I feel special that he loves me so much. I feel like I'm bragging but we have some sort of bond. I love it!

So my sister in law Jamie tagged me so here I go. So I have my keys of course and the white key is to get into our apartment building, without that you are pretty much screwed. haha I have my Excedrin Migraine because I always get headaches, I have my "happy pills" as we call them which is celexa. I have all of my lipsticks/chapsticks because I can't leave the house without my lips painted! My old excel pass card, two things of gum, two tampons for those unexpected days, some trash, my checkbook, my wallet, my yummy smelling lotion, and oatmeal in case I get hungry and work and need something healty to eat. I have some jolly ranchers because they are so yummy, and my headphones for my vocera at work, my digital camera and a pen. I also had a toy I got for Jaxon out of a machine at Del Taco. I think that's it, geeze my purse is messy! haha

So since we aren't moving anymore, Dan and I got a storage unit and we de-cluttered our apartment today! yay! But it still wasn't completly clean when I had to leave to go babysit my niece and nephew. Well when I got home our apartment was spotless! Dan had cleaned everything. (Well except the bedroom, no one sees that! haha) It was so nice to come home to. So I took a bunch of pictures of the apartment to show it off!

So with our tax returns this year we finally bought a computer! We are really excited. We can't believe we have gone a year and a half without one. We really couldn't go any longer with Daniel taking online classes for school. We had to keep going down to his parents for him to do homework. We get the internet on Saturday so we only have to keep doing that for this week.
When I got home from work he also surprised me with a new digital camera! I was so excited. I have been wanting my own for as long as I can remember. He is so good to me! I think I have the best husband, actually I know I do. :) hehe
So I thought I might add that Dan and I won't be moving to Bountiful anymore. :( We prayed about it and we decided it won't be the best thing right now for us. It just seemed like nothing was working out for us to move. We ended up losing the apartment we wanted and just a whole bunch of other stuff just kept happening. We're just going to stay at our little apartment in Ogden until I am done with school and hopefully find a house!! So I guess it's worth it!!

Well lets see what's been going on with us these last few weeks. We got an apartment at Pebble Creek in Bountiful. We found out we can move in on April 7th! yay! I'm so excited to finally have an extra bedroom and bathroom. Dan and I started packing things we don't really need and I've come to find out that we have so much stuff!! Dan is doing really well in school. I'm so proud of him for being in school. I'm in the process of applying for nursing school at Steven-Henegars College. So hopefully I can start in the next few months. Our kitty is still as cute at always, but we have noticed she is being naughty about peeing on the floor and not her litter box. It's a little frustrating, so hopefully that will stop! Well that's about it for us for now.

How long did you date? 1 year before his mission and then as soon as he got back. I guess the two years on his mission didn't really count...

I just have to say though she does love me more than Daniel. haha She follows me everywhere and will only come and sleep with me at night. I just love it! Kitty and Daniel have a love/hate relationship. But we both just are so happy we got her!

Well, I haven't written an update for awhile so here it goes. Dan and I had a great New Years! We had a big family dinner since New Years Eve is his Dad's birthday. We played Phase 10 until midnight with all of dan's siblings. We had so much fun.
Lets see, we are on a waiting list at Pebble Creek apartments in Bountiful. Yes! We are finally moving back to our old stomping grounds! We are both so excited to go back, you can only live in Ogden for so long! haha :) It will be really nice to move into a bigger apartment! We won't feel as crampt!
Daniel started school last week and is doing really well. I'm so proud of him for being as dedicated as he has been, lets just hope he doesn't get too overwhelmed!
My family started the "Biggest Loser" a couple of weeks ago. We did the whole weigh in, measurements and pictures! We are doing it for 3 months and whoever loses the most gets the money! So far Dan has lost 9 pounds and I have lost 5.2 lbs. It feels so good to be eating healthy and working out. We are seeing really good results.
Well that's about it for now. I will write back when something else happens!!

Well Daniel and I had a really good Christmas. I was so excited that I woke up at 5 AM, but had to wait until 9 for Daniel to wake up! I was just so excited for him to open up his presents from me. Daniel really did spoil me even though he said I spoiled him. He is so good to me.
At noon we went down to my parents and had lunch and after we ate we opened stockings and our gifts from my parents and did our gift exchanges from each of our siblings. My parents are so generous, they always give a such nice things. We then went over to both of my grandparents and at my Grandma Hadlow's we had a nice of surprise to see that the Elder that baptized my Dad was there. He flew in and surprised everyone! It was neat to meet him. If it wasn't for him we might not be in the church.
After going to visit all of our family, we headed over to Dan's parents and had a really good dinner. Sandy always makes the best food. We played Apples to Apples and then watched a movie with Amy and Phil.
Christmas was really fun and I'm so glad we were able to be with family. Our families are the greatest!

New Cell Phones

Well we did it, we switched to Verizon.... Dan and I decided that since he talks to his family more than I do (I text more than call) that we should switch from t-mobile since most of Dan's family is on Verizon. We got some sweet phones. We got the new EnV phones. We are having fun with them and now we have no excuse not to call everyone, and the same for them. haha :)

Daniel and I met back in the summer of 2002. I had the biggest crush on him, but we both were dating someone. We ended up working at the same grocery store with his brother Chris. So I got so see him almost everyday! :) But in February 2003, we were both finally single! So I asked him out and our first date was March 1, 2003. We went with my best friend Jordie and she took Daniel's friend Josh. We went to the spaggetti factory ( I found out later that Dan hated spaggetti) then we went to Knock your socks off. After that we went to Josh's house and watched the grudge. Every since that day we saw each other everyday. So on March 3rd we had our first kiss and my March 11th we were offically a couple. Dan left for his mission in May of 2004 and I waited faithfully until he wrote me in September 2005 saying I should date other people and just be friends. :( Yes I was devistated, but I did like he said! haha I went out and dated and it was fun, but I knew he was the one for me. Daniel finally came home May 2006 and things were just the way they were when he left. He kissed me the night he came home! I was shocked I thought he was going to be wierd! He was a little mad when he found out that I actually did go out and date and even kissed someone... oops! Daniel proposed in June and we were married October 27, 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. We went on our honeymoon to Park City. We moved to Ogden and have been there ever since. In June 2007 we got our Kitty and we just love her, she is so spoiled. Marriage is wonderful, Daniel treats me like a princess and I love him so much! Well that is just a little about us!!
